The one thing I didn’t tell you about my friend Linda is that she is a fountain of information on cooking methods, ethnic ingredients, and exotic kitchenware as well as a resource for all types of “PC” products. When she came to play the other day, she brought me a bag of Stone-Buhr flour which I had never heard of – leave it to Linda to make a discovery that none of us had heard of. I visited their website and fell in love. I suggest you visit and order, too. www.stone-buhr.com
Judie – their website is very interesting. I love the fact that no-tilling is being used as a viable farming option – just keep the weed-killer chemicals under control and all’s well!
We all have to order and support to keep these farmers thriving.
Thanks for your comments – Judie
reminds me of the Mother Hubbard Flour I used to sell at my feed mill, Bergeron’s, in Rice Lake, WI…lost time, talents and treasures! LenaMai
We will make those lost times, talents, and treasures come back – believe me.

I love baking with Stone-Buhr flour. It makes the best bread and cookies.
That’s what I’ve discovered – let’s pass the word along –
Thanks for visiting and commenting.
